The Town of West New York received over two feet of snow and the West New York Parking Authority will continue to prioritize snow removal efforts for the safety and service of our residents. On-Street meter parking and Alternate Side parking enforcement for street sweeper will be suspended through Wednesday, January 27th in order to provide West New York residents extra time to dig out.
We thank our residents for their patience and for their sense of community as we dig out from this historic blizzard. West New York has witnessed many acts of courtesy and togetherness — neighbors helping each other out. Mayor Felix E. Roque, M.D. and the Board of Commissioners, in conjunction with the entire Snow team – The Department of Public Works, Office of Emergency Management, Police Department, Board of Education, Parking Authority and North Hudson Regional Fire Department – have done an amazing job throughout the storm and after working 24/7 to keep West New York safe.
